Ethan White and his Dad Geoff of Dora Creek, are our newest recruits to what we hope is the start of our sponsorship team.
Ethan is 16 years old and drives an AMCA National Race car. This racecar is driven on dirt in such places as Valvoline Raceway in Sydney, Archerfield and Dubbo. The young and inspiring teen has a family background of speedway drivers with his Grandfather driving Street Stocks in the day and his Dad Geoff also driving AMCA’s and previously Litre Sprintcars.
With much determination and will I’m sure Ethan will develop into an A1 driver. With Speedway in his blood its sure to happen.
Ethan has a pit crew that consists of his Dad Geoff, His Grandfather Spencer and friend Craig.
A lot of hard work, time and effort goes into getting the car ready for race meets. Not to mention the hard yards of cleaning the mud off the car after heats, refuelling, repairs and maintenance.
Clean up on a Sunday is even more fun.
We would like to wish Ethan and his Dad the best of luck with the speedway career and hope that we can update you all on how he is going with the driving in the not too distant future.
Not too bad for a kid that’s only on his learners.
Go TEAM WHITE!
What is an AMCA National?
AMCA Nationals are purpose-built modified race cars based on American Dirt Modifieds.
All chassis feature an HQ-WB Holden front clip and drivers have the choice of running either a Holden V8 253ci engine, which produces around 340 horsepower, or a Chevrolet V8 350ci crate engine, which produces around 350 horsepower. Drivers also have the option of running a standard Commodore BorgWarner differential or quick-change differential.
With the tightly structured rules, such as control tyres aimed at creating a level playing field between all competitors, AMCA Nationals produce close and exciting racing that is fantastic to watch and always pulls a big crowd to the fence.
